User test – new search interface and features in RUT

A new search interface and features in RUT have been developed. Now user tests are being conducted.

RUT is a metadata tool that has been developed by The Swedish Research Council. RUT describes Swedish registers and the contents of biobank sample collections with metadata, i.e., data about data. RUT does not contain any personal data. This means, for example, that you can find information about which value sets have been used, but not which values have been collected.

RUT has an interface where users can search and browse the contents of connected registers. A new search function has been developed which is now available for user testing in a separate test environment. Note that the RUT metadata tool and register contents are in Swedish, thus the user test is currently also only in Swedish.
