Status report 2019 for Swedish National Quality Registers published

At the end of August, the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SKL) published their new status report, which summarises the activities carried out during 2018 within the framework of the agreement between the state and SKL on support for the Swedish National Quality Registers.

In a blog post (in Swedish), Fredrik Lennartsson, Head of the Health and Social Care Division at SKL, states that the registers create the conditions for a more safe and equal care. According to Fredrik Lennartsson, the quality registers are also an important source for clinical research and collaboration with the Life Science sector.
