Scandinavian Obesity Surgery Registry (SOReg) now in RUT
The quality register Scandinavian Obesity Surgery Registry (SOReg), which since 2007 covers all obesity surgery in Sweden, is now connected to the RUT (Register Utiliser Tool) metadata tool. The register aims to provide new knowledge about the disease obesity and its treatment. SOReg has a very high coverage rate, as all operating units in Sweden report to the register.
On the register’s website you can find annual reports, patient information and a guide to doing research using SOReg’s data. A list of the contents of the registry with variables can be found in the RUT (Register Utiliser Tool) metadata tool. New registers are continuously connected to RUT, and information is published on registerforskning.se.
