The Swedish national register for patients on Long Term Oxygen Therapy and Home Mechanical Ventilation (Swedevox) consists of data on patient level with the aim to improve quality of treatment for respiratory failure with long term oxygen and home mechanical ventilation. The purpose is also to gain knowledge around factors leading to respiratory failure and best practice treatment.
The Swedish national register for patients on Long Term Oxygen Therapy and Home Mechanical Ventilation (Swedevox) is financed by the Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions. The register has certification level 2.
On the register website you can find treatment guidelines, annual reports, next-of-kin information and instructions for researchers. The register contents and variables can be explored in the RUT metadata tool (Register Utiliser Tool). In addition, Swedevox has data on CPAP, however, this is not visualized in RUT.
