National quality register for hand surgery (HAKIR)
The aim is to use individual-based monitoring of factors such as care efforts and treatment results to enable improvement work and research that will progressively improve the state of care provided to patients. HAKIR was established in 2008 by the Swedish Society for Surgery of the Hand. Today, it is a web-based national quality register covering the majority of the hand surgery performed in Sweden.
